Zero Street manages outreach, intake, psychological assessment, case management, and employment placement. You provide resources and relationship.
You won't receive a case file. You'll meet a person. We facilitate introductions so both your congregation and the individual feel comfortable and connected.
6 to 12 months of support. Monthly check-ins. Clear milestones. A defined exit plan. You know exactly what you're committing to and for how long.
Monthly progress reports. Milestone tracking. Transparent communication. You see exactly where your resources go and what impact they create.
The ideal commitment is apartment sponsorship and groceries. But every contribution matters: financial support, mentorship, volunteer services, or logistical aid.
You're not managing a charity case. You're launching a life. When your person transitions to independence, that's a story your congregation carries forever.
1. Get in touch. Email contact@zerostreet.org and tell us who you are. No forms and no obligation at this stage.
2. A conversation with your leadership. We walk your pastor, board or missions committee through the model, what the commitment involves, and what it does not. This is where most questions get answered.
3. Define your commitment. Together we set what you are able to provide and for how long. The ideal is apartment sponsorship and a grocery allowance for six to twelve months, but financial support, mentorship, volunteer services and logistical help all have a place.
4. Meet your person. Once we have a match, we facilitate an introduction so both sides can decide whether it feels right before anything is finalised. You are meeting a person, not accepting a case file.
We publish a list of partner congregations, but only congregations that have explicitly agreed to appear on it. Partnering and consenting to be named are two separate decisions, and we ask about the second one separately. A congregation that partners quietly stays unnamed for as long as it wants to. We never publish who declined, who is still considering, or who asked us not to name them.
